1. Scope
These Terms apply to all use of GTC Quiz Tournament and related websites, applications, and functions provided by the operator.
If the operator publishes additional rules, guidelines, or notices for specific features, they form part of these Terms.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating or using an account.
Users are responsible for managing their passkeys, devices, and other authentication methods. Lending, transferring, or sharing accounts is prohibited unless the operator explicitly allows it.
If a minor uses the Service, or if the Service is used in a school or organizational context, the user must use the Service in accordance with these Terms, applicable laws, and the rules of the relevant school or organization.
3. Service Features
The Service includes features such as quiz creation, tournament management, participation, rankings, profile management, class and organization management, and related support functions.
The operator may add, change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service without prior notice when reasonably necessary.
4. User Content and Permissions
Users are responsible for all quizzes, images, text, participant lists, and other content they upload or publish through the Service.
Users must ensure they hold the rights or permissions necessary to use and publish such content. Organizers and school users are also responsible for handling student or participant data in accordance with applicable laws and the rules of the relevant school or organization.
By posting content through the Service, the user grants the operator a non-exclusive right to store, process, display, and distribute that content within the scope necessary to operate the Service.
5. Prohibited Actions
Users must not engage in actions that violate laws, infringe rights, disrupt the Service, or otherwise interfere with safe operation.
- Unauthorized access, attempts to bypass security, or misuse of credentials
- Cheating, score manipulation, impersonation, or fraudulent participation
- Uploading unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content
- Excessive scraping, automated abuse, reverse engineering, or actions that impose unreasonable load
- Collecting personal information of other users beyond the intended purpose of the Service
6. Privacy and Visibility
The operator handles personal information and usage data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Depending on tournament settings, organizational settings, and the user’s display preferences, items such as display name, affiliation, score, ranking, participation records, or submitted content may be shown to organizers, teachers, other participants, or authorized administrators.
7. Restriction or Suspension
The operator may restrict access to the Service, suspend accounts, delete content, or otherwise take necessary measures if the user violates these Terms, provides false information, causes operational risk, or if such action is otherwise reasonably required.
8. Disclaimer
The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, or fitness of the Service for every user’s particular purpose.
The operator is not responsible for disputes between users, schools, organizations, or third parties arising from use of the Service, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, the operator’s liability is limited to direct and ordinary damages actually caused by the operator.
9. Changes to These Terms
The operator may revise these Terms when necessary. Revised Terms take effect when published on the Service or at another time separately indicated by the operator.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
Any dispute related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the operator’s principal place of business as the court of first instance.
